In November we decorated a tree for the Festival of trees. It turned out really great! Thanks to everyone who came to help!
We dedicated the tree to Heather Christensen
Our ornaments included little instruments, stars cut out of sheet music, and flip-flops for Heather.
Our tree was sold although we're not sure for how much.

Summer Officer Leadership Training
We had a fantastic time this past week at our summer officer leadership training. We spent three hours at the CLAS Ropes Course. It was so much fun, and we learned some great team work and leadership skills! After that we spent much of the day making some great plans for activities this coming school year. It's going to be a great one. Our officers this year are...
President - ShaNae McCleskey
Vice President - Sydney Roudabush
Secretary - Shanice Barnes
Historian - Emily Barton
PR/Membership - Chloe Mehr

On this challenge, we had to figure out a way to reach the rope, then get four of us to swing from the platform onto 2 small boards. If you touched the ground, you were given a handicap. ShaNae made it across blindfolded!
"The Leap of Faith" was nerve racking. You had to climb a tree and then jump for the ring before falling to the ground (in a harness of course).
Another challenge we did was making our way across a series of tight ropes. We also rode a giant swing and the zip line.
